Reincarnated Villainess Fights Twisted Fate in New Short Drama

On September 30, the fantasy romance webtoon 'The Extreme Villainess' will premiere as a short drama, bringing its unique premise to life. The story follows Yoon Miso, a struggling assistant writer who awakens as a villainess in an exaggerated drama world. Played by Kang Min-ah, Miso must now embrace her cursed fate as a notorious antagonist in order to complete the drama's storyline and escape her doomed existence.

Joining Kang Min-ah is Song Byeong-geun as Miso's loyal secretary, Cha Seung-do. The teaser has sparked attention with hints of a dangerous romance developing between the two, raising questions about whether their relationship could save or doom Miso's twisted destiny. Veteran actors Oh Hyun-kyung and Park Sang-myeon also star as Miso's parents, adding warmth and familiarity to the fantastical premise.

The short drama is part of a larger joint project between STUDIO X+U and Naver, delivering eight webtoon-based short dramas. Alongside 'The Extreme Villainess,' series like 'Sooji Sooji,' 'Typing Ghost,' and 'Super Man' will also premiere sequentially, expanding Naver's push into experimental short-form storytelling.
