The film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel, Regretting You, is facing a downturn in weekday box office performance, marking its lowest earnings since its debut. This comes as the movie has surpassed its budget and achieved official box office success.

Currently, the film's worldwide earnings stand above $82.4 million. It has become one of the year's unexpected box office stories, defying initial doubts to become the third highest-grossing romance drama of the year. Despite competition from new releases, it continues to play in 2,709 theaters.

However, Monday saw a steep 72.5% drop from Sunday, with earnings around $239,000 and an average of $88 per theater. This decline is significant compared to its performance the previous Monday. The film is anticipated to see a slight improvement due to lower ticket prices on Tuesdays, potentially helping it approach the $100 million worldwide target before its theatrical run concludes.
