Regal Entertainment Group has expanded its loyalty program with the introduction of Regal Rewards+, a new membership tier launched on Monday. Priced at $10.99 per month, Rewards+ provides a flexible subscription for moviegoers, offering one monthly 2D movie ticket that never expires.
Members also benefit from the option to purchase up to four additional discounted tickets each month at the membership rate. Further perks include a 20 percent discount on all concessions, waived online convenience fees, and special birthday rewards. This new offering aims to cater to regular moviegoers who may not attend frequently enough for the unlimited plan.
The launch occurs as the theatrical business anticipates a busy fall and holiday season, bolstered by recent successes. Regal celebrated its biggest four-day weekend globally from July 30-Aug. 2, generating $160 million in box office and concessions revenue. This historic performance indicates a strong return of audiences to cinemas.
