Taylor Zakhar Perez Teases Thrilling 'Red, White & Royal Blue' Sequel Script

In a recent interview, actor Taylor Zakhar Perez revealed that he is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to reprise his role as Alex Claremont-Diaz in the upcoming sequel to the 2023 hit film 'Red, White & Royal Blue.' Perez stated that he has already read the script, which was written by Gemma Burgess, Matthew López, and the original novel's author, Casey McQuiston, and he is very impressed, describing it as "really good."

The sequel, tentatively titled 'Red, White & Royal Wedding,' is set to begin production in 2026, following the official greenlight from Amazon MGM Studios. The original film's director, Matthew López, will not be returning for the sequel, with Jamie Babbit taking over the helm.

Perez and his co-star, Nicholas Galitzine, who played Prince Henry, are both set to reunite for the sequel, which is being produced by Berlanti Schechter Films' Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, along with Michael McGrath. McQuiston will also serve as an executive producer on the project.
