In the latest episode of PEOPLE's "Next Red Carpet Reporter," contestants faced a trial by fire designed to test their composure. Guest judges Keltie Knight and PEOPLE editor-at-large Janine Rubenstein presented a challenge where reporters interviewed the comedic pair Grant Gibbs and Ashley Gill.
The interviewees deliberately made the situation difficult. Competitors experienced uncomfortable answers, sudden requests for snacks, and even walk-offs from the interview set. One reporter admitted to experiencing the worst interview of their life due to the comedians' antics.
The challenging segment aimed to assess how reporters handle interviews that go "off the rails." Ultimately, one contestant failed to meet the task's demands and will face elimination in the upcoming episode, continuing the competition.
