As of October 20th, 2025, a reality TV personality has found herself in legal trouble. The public affairs academic-turned-TV star, who joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac in 2020, has been indicted and booked on a total of 16 criminal fraud charges.
According to the indictment, the reality TV personality and her husband were accused of making false and/or misleading insurance claims, including a $450,000 claim for alleged property loss during a burglary last April. However, police later discovered the reality star wearing a diamond ring she had reported stolen.
The couple spent a night in jail in Westminster, Maryland before posting a combined $100,000 in bail. In the wake of the news, Bravo has pulled the premiere episode of the spin-off series Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition, which was set to feature the indicted housewife and her family. The episode will now feature a different Housewife instead.
Despite the legal troubles, the reality TV star has expressed her faith, writing on Instagram that "God remains faithful" and thanking fans for their "love, support, and prayers." However, it remains unclear if she will still be attending the upcoming BravoCon event in Las Vegas as previously scheduled.
