'Reading Rainbow' Relaunches with Beloved Librarian Host and Celebrity Lineup

In a highly anticipated move, the classic children's television program 'Reading Rainbow' is set to make a triumphant return to PBS. The show, which originally aired for 26 years before concluding in 2006, is now being revived with a fresh new look and a beloved new host.

Mychel Threets, widely known as 'Mychel the Librarian' on TikTok, has been tapped to lead the revived 'Reading Rainbow.' Threets, a passionate advocate for literacy, currently serves as the resident librarian for PBS Kids. Under his guidance, the show promises to continue its mission of promoting childhood reading and combating the "summer loss phenomena."
