Ray J has stated that a recent knockout and subsequent four-night hospital stay will not prompt him to retire his 'Reckless Ray' persona. Ray J referred to his current phase as his "final reckless moments," expressing a desire to complete his bucket list before evolving into a more mature individual, anticipating the arrival of 'Responsible Ray.'

Ray J acknowledged a sense of disappointment in the idea of becoming less boisterous, recognizing that all phases of life eventually conclude. This stance comes after his May bout in Las Vegas, where Supa Hot Fire delivered a knockout blow, leading to Ray J's hospitalization for checks including a possible concussion and heart rate monitoring.

Following the fight, an investigation was initiated due to Ray J's post-match remarks, which suggested a potential scheme. He has since denied throwing the fight. Despite the physical toll and scrutiny, Ray J insists he is not ready to retire from boxing, believing 'Reckless Ray' still has more to offer.
