Actor Ravie Dubey recently shared a remarkable coincidence that occurred nearly a year before his official casting as Lord Lakshman in Nitesh Tiwari's ambitious 'Ramayana' film. While filming a television show titled 'Lakhan Leela Bhargava,' where he portrayed a character named Lakhan, Dubey found himself visiting the Shri Lakshman temple in Lakshmanpuri, also known as Lucknow. This visit was entirely coincidental, occurring approximately twelve months prior to confirming his role in the highly anticipated movie.
Dubey described this event as an 'incredible synchronicity,' viewing such occurrences as divine orchestration. He expressed a philosophy of surrender, suggesting that instead of strategizing, individuals should trust in a higher power guiding events. The 'Ramayana' film project is a massive undertaking, planned as a two-part live-action cinematic universe. It boasts a star-studded cast, with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Raavan, and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Other notable actors include Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Amitabh Bachchan as Jatayu, and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi.
Adding to the film's grand scale, renowned composers Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman are collaborating on the music. The production also features Hollywood's top stunt directors, Terry Notary and Guy Norris, responsible for choreographing the epic battle sequences. The film is being shot for IMAX and is slated for a worldwide release, with Part 1 scheduled for Diwali 2026 and Part 2 for Diwali 2027.
