Ravi Teja's 'Mass Jathara' Flops Big at Box Office
13 Nov
Summary
- 'Mass Jathara' earns just ₹26 lakh on day 12
- Film has recovered only 42.45% of its ₹40 crore budget
- Fails to make 50% recovery, headed for a flop verdict

Ravi Teja's latest Telugu action comedy 'Mass Jathara' has failed to make any significant impact at the Indian box office. The film, which was released on October 31, 2025, had a decent start but soon lost steam due to mixed reviews and unfavorable word of mouth.
As of November 13, 2025, the film has earned just ₹26 lakh on its second Wednesday, day 12. Its total net collection at the Indian box office stands at an estimated ₹16.98 crore, with a gross domestic collection of ₹20.03 crore including GST.
However, the film was made on a budget of ₹40 crore, and it has so far recovered only 42.45% of its cost. Considering the current pace, it is highly unlikely that 'Mass Jathara' will be able to recover even 50% of its budget, which is the benchmark for a film to avoid being considered a flop.
According to industry standards, a film must recoup at least half of its budget to be considered a commercial success. Since 'Mass Jathara' is struggling to achieve this milestone, it is headed for a flop verdict at the Indian box office.
Directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu, the film also features Sreeleela, Naveen Chandra, Rajendra Prasad, and Naresh in key roles. It is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Sowjanya.
