The trailer launch event for "Maamla Legal Hai Season 2" in Mumbai saw a surprising revelation from actor Ravi Kishan. Addressing the gathered media and cast, Kishan confessed to childhood transgressions, including stealing coins posted on a Lord Hanuman idol and traveling without tickets on trains and buses. He humorously recalled believing the coins were meant for him and that God loved him. Kishan also mentioned his father, a priest, instilled good values, guiding him to understand the importance of abiding by the law.
During the event, Kishan reiterated his current stance, highlighting that as a lawmaker, he detests such acts. He assured attendees that he does not encourage any illegal behavior from anyone and will not support wrongdoing, regardless of personal connections. The temple where he committed his childhood 'offenses' was identified as still existing in Hill Road, Bandra West, a place he frequented on Saturdays for more coin offerings. "Maamla Legal Hai Season 2" is set to premiere on Netflix on April 3, 2026.
