Raveena Tandon Reminisces About Her 90s Engagement to Akshay Kumar

In a recent interview, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon revisited her past relationship with Akshay Kumar, which garnered renewed attention online. The two actors first met and fell in love while shooting the 1994 film Mohra. Their romance eventually led to a secret engagement in the late 1990s, which both publicly confirmed later.

Raveena shared that the engagement was an elaborate affair, with both families in attendance and traditional rituals performed. However, the relationship soon faced strain, with rumors of Akshay's alleged infidelity, including links to co-star Shilpa Shetty, reportedly playing a major role in the breakup. After several on-and-off reconciliations, the engagement ended in 1998, though the two remained cordial and continued to work together for some time.

In the recent interview, Raveena dismissed claims that Akshay had dated women who resembled her, saying she prefers not to read such reports, as it's better not to unnecessarily raise one's blood pressure.
