Raveena Tandon has addressed and refuted claims from 2024 accusing her and her driver of assaulting a woman. The actress stated that contrary to the allegations, the incident was an attempted extortion.

She explained that CCTV footage from her building helped clarify the situation, and police indicated the episode was part of an extortion plan. A mob of about 30 individuals had gathered outside her residence, creating a tense environment.

Tandon detailed that her driver was wrongly accused, with no contact occurring between the car and nearby individuals. She recounted going out to speak with the women, only to be met by the mob, who then allegedly attacked her driver and another watchman.
