A recent post by SHREE Jewellers revealed an unseen wedding picture of actress Rashmika Mandanna, showcasing her magnificent bridal attire. She was adorned in a vibrant green and red saree, elegantly draped in the traditional Coorgi style, complemented by a green veil featuring intricate embroidery and zari work, known as a vastra or musuk in Kodava culture.
Mandanna's jewellery ensemble was a testament to South Indian architectural inspiration and ancestral Coorgi craftsmanship. It included a striking gold kasumala necklace with Goddess Lakshmi motifs and uncut diamonds, along with matching jhumka-style earrings featuring sculpted Lord Krishna. Her makeup was simple yet elegant, with kohl-lined eyes and brick-red lipstick.
The Hyderabad-based jewellery brand meticulously crafted 11 unique pieces for the actress, including layered necklaces, statement earrings, a waist belt, and anklets. These creations, finished with an antique matte polish, were designed as legacy pieces, embodying permanence and transcending generations, as shared by the jewellers' managing directors.
The wedding, which also featured actor Vijay Deverakonda, was a significant social event, celebrated in Udaipur. The jewellery's intricate designs and high-relief Nakshi work were executed by master artisans, honouring roots and cultural richness.
