Rashmika Mandanna Dives Into Grueling Underwater Fight

Rashmika Mandanna has taken on a groundbreaking role in the upcoming thriller Mysaa, completing what is billed as "India's first female-led underwater fight sequence." This ambitious three-and-a-half-minute scene immediately follows a previously filmed 80-foot waterfall jump.

The action unfolds the moment the protagonist hits the water, transitioning into a highly choreographed combat sequence. Director Rawindra Pulle revealed that three days were dedicated to filming this portion, preceded by a full day of rehearsals to ensure precision.

The stunt was executed at a specialized studio in Shamshabad. Beyond the physical demands on the cast, the crew faced significant logistical hurdles, particularly concerning water quality. Daily purification of the water was a critical and demanding process to ensure perfect visibility and safety throughout the shoot.
