Producer Allu Aravind addressed the casting, stating that the decision felt divinely guided, with MS Subbulakshmi herself having chosen Mandanna. He expressed his gratitude, viewing the opportunity as a sacred trust. Mandanna, speaking in Tamil, conveyed her deep appreciation and requested the legendary singer's blessings for the endeavor.
