Rasha Thadani's Film Delayed for Special Dance Number
31 Aug
Summary
- Film release postponed to February 2027 from 2026.
- Delay due to adding a special song inspired by Rasha's success.
- Song is inspired by Rasha's popular dance number 'Uyi Amma'.
The upcoming romantic drama Laikey Laikaa, featuring Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma, will now arrive in February 2027, a shift from its initial 2026 release. This postponement is attributed to the filmmakers' decision to include a special song.
The special song is inspired by the positive reception of Rasha Thadani's dance performance in 'Uyi Amma,' a track from her 2025 debut film Azaad. The song's popularity highlighted Rasha's dancing abilities, prompting the makers to incorporate a similar dance-focused moment into Laikey Laikaa, where her character is a dancer.
This strategic addition, coupled with the appeal of a February release coinciding with Valentine's Day, influenced the new release date. Laikey Laikaa marks the first on-screen pairing for Thadani and Verma and is described as an intense romantic story.
In other developments, Abhay Verma recently appeared in the series 'Operation Safed Sagar,' while Rasha Thadani made her Telugu debut in 'Srinivasa Mangapuram.'
