A unique exhibition, 'Biscope 2-Gumnaam Hai Koi,' showcasing rare Indian film posters, commenced on Saturday at Lucknow's Kala Srot Art Gallery in Aliganj. This exhibition provides a captivating look into the often-untold stories of Indian cinema.

Around 50 rare posters, drawn from the personal collection of IRS officer and film archivist Suboor Usmani, are on display. The exhibition aims to span Indian cinema from its early days in the 1930s through to contemporary times.

Among the featured works are original posters for Franz Osten's 'Kangan' (1939) and the historically significant 'Ram Rajya' (1943). The exhibition also highlights BR Chopra's 'Sholay' (1953), a film that predates the widely known 1975 version of the same name.

The exhibition is open to the public until October 4, operating daily from 11 am to 8 pm. Actor Atul Tiwari inaugurated the event, with filmmaker Karan Bali as the guest of honour.
