Rapper's YouTube Channel Vanishes After CJP Remarks

Independent rapper Santy Sharma, also known as Ganesh Sharma, has announced that his YouTube channel has been permanently deleted. Sharma, who hails from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, stated on Instagram Stories that the channel represented "11 years of dreams, struggles, memories, and countless hours of hard work." He believes the deletion is a result of backlash received after he referred to the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) as "just internet drama."

Sharma elaborated that while criticism is a part of democracy, creating unnecessary instability and online propaganda is detrimental to India's growth. The CJP, founded by Abhijeet Dipke, initially started as a social media meme movement but has since expanded into a nationwide campaign addressing issues within the Indian education system, such as the NEET paper leak. Sharma's career began in 2016 on YouTube, and he is recognized as an early prominent rapper from central India in the independent hip-hop scene.

Rumors also suggest Santy Sharma is slated to appear in the upcoming season of the reality show Bigg Boss 20, hosted by Salman Khan, which is scheduled to premiere in September 2026. Other rumored contestants for the show include Anjali Arora and Uorfi Javed.
