This directive followed a complaint from filmmaker Farhan Akhtar alleging Singh withdrew from the project just weeks before shooting was set to begin, causing significant production issues.
Despite receiving three formal notices from FWICE, Singh did not respond publicly. His spokesperson stated that Singh respects professional discussions and prefers to handle matters with dignity, choosing restraint over public conjecture. FWICE later clarified that the directive is temporary and not a ban.
