Ranveer Singh has officially confirmed his continued involvement in the Jai Mehta-directed zombie thriller, 'Pralay,' labeling reports of his exit as "completely baseless." The actor has reportedly begun work on the project, with the script now finalized and the film entering pre-production.

'Pralay' is set in a post-apocalyptic Mumbai, a vision that will reportedly be brought to life using AI-powered visuals to depict a ruined cityscape. This marks Jai Mehta's feature film directorial debut, building on his experience co-directing successful series like 'Scam 1992.'

The film, backed by Applause Entertainment, is scheduled to commence shooting in August 2026. This clarification comes amidst earlier viral reports suggesting creative differences between Singh and Mehta had stalled the project.

Notably, this update arrives while Singh is also making headlines for his departure from 'Don 3,' a project he walked away from last year due to alleged script disagreements and production delays.
