Spider-Man's TV Legacy: Every Show Ranked
30 Jul
Summary
- A ranking of all Spider-Man television shows is presented.
- Shows are evaluated for faithfulness and entertainment value.
- Less successful installments like 'Spidey Super Stories' are excluded.
The television legacy of Spider-Man is being revisited with a definitive ranking of every live-action and animated series featuring the iconic hero. This evaluation aims to showcase the web-slinger's extensive presence on the small screen.
Other than Batman, few superheroes have seen as many adaptations as Spider-Man. This offers numerous creative avenues, allowing him to operate solo against villains like Green Goblin or integrate into the broader Marvel universe.
However, not all adaptations have met critical acclaim. Shows like "Spidey Super Stories," known for its silly skits on PBS' "The Electric Company," are being omitted. The ranking prioritizes shows that demonstrate strong fidelity to the character and offer high entertainment value.
