Rani Mukerji's Grueling 18-Hour Climax Shoot

Rani Mukerji recently shared insights into the challenging filming experience of the action thriller 'Mardaani 3,' particularly focusing on its climactic sequence. This part of the production demanded significant physical stamina and mental concentration from the actress.

Mukerji found night shoots to be the most arduous due to her natural preference for early mornings. Adjusting her body clock for nocturnal filming was difficult, though she noted the unique, quiet atmosphere and energetic crew spirit during these times.

The climax shoot itself was particularly grueling, lasting an uninterrupted 18 hours from 3 p.m. one day until 10 a.m. the next morning. This extended period tested Mukerji's endurance, as the sequence was inherently demanding and required considerable intensity.

Despite the physical toll, Mukerji found the effort worthwhile upon seeing the final result of the scene on screen. The 'Mardaani' franchise installment sees her reprising the role of Shivani Shivaji Roy as she investigates missing girls and uncovers a criminal operation.

Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, 'Mardaani 3' also features Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad. The film is set for its World Television Premiere on July 18 at 8 p.m., featuring Mukerji's fearless police officer character on another dangerous mission.
