Ranbir Kapoor Skips 'Animal Park' Sequel Talk

Ranbir Kapoor recently addressed his upcoming film projects, confirming his involvement in 'Ramayana' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War,' slated for release on January 24, 2027. However, his failure to mention 'Animal Park,' the sequel to Sandeep Reddy Vanga's hit film 'Animal,' during promotional activities has fueled speculation. This omission is particularly noteworthy given the actor's past experiences with franchise films, such as 'Brahmastra: Part One,' which endured extensive delays over nearly a decade.

While Kapoor is committed to the two-part 'Ramayana' and 'Love & War,' the future of 'Animal Park' is unclear. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga previously indicated that 'Animal Park' was planned to commence shooting in mid-2027 after he completed his current project, 'Spirit,' starring Prabhas and set for a March 5, 2027 release. Kapoor himself had expressed enthusiasm for the sequel. However, there have been no further updates on 'Animal Park' since February 2026, leaving its production status uncertain.
