Ranbir Kapoor's Release Date Demand: June 2026 for Love & War!

Ranbir Kapoor, a leading star of the current generation, is reportedly prioritizing the release schedule of his upcoming projects. Following the film 'Animal', Kapoor has 'Love And War' slated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, preceding his ambitious 'Ramayana' series. Kapoor has apparently advised Bhansali and the production team to complete 'Love And War' by March 2026.

This request stems from Kapoor's desire to maintain a significant gap of at least four months between the release of 'Love And War' and the highly anticipated 'Ramayana', which is slated for a Diwali 2026 release. Given that 'Ramayana's' release date is fixed, Kapoor is pushing for 'Love And War' to hit cinemas by June 2026.

Bhansali's preference was reportedly for an August release, aligning with Independence Day. However, Kapoor's insistence on a June release is supported by producer Namit Malhotra, who is keen to avoid any negative fallout from 'Love And War' impacting the monumental 'Ramayana' film. A final decision on the release date is expected soon.
