Kapoor & Padukone Reunite After a Decade for Classic Remake

Actor Ranbir Kapoor and actress Deepika Padukone are set to grace the silver screen together again, marking their much-anticipated reunion after a ten-year hiatus. Industry buzz indicates they will collaborate on a new feature film helmed by director Ayan Mukerji.

The upcoming project is reportedly a contemporary reimagining, loosely adapted from the classic 1956 film 'Chori Chori,' originally directed by Ranbir Kapoor's great-grandfather, the legendary Raj Kapoor. While not a direct remake, the new film aims to reinterpret the original's central premise for a modern audience, incorporating updated character arcs and narrative elements.

Furthermore, this film is poised to herald the revival of the esteemed RK Films banner, a move driven by Ranbir Kapoor's personal commitment to honoring his family's cinematic legacy. The collaboration also signifies a powerful onscreen pairing, evoking memories of their previous beloved performances.
