A former journalist named Nikita Dalvi shared a remarkable incident from when Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were secretly dating. Dalvi recalled receiving a tip that Ranbir would be leaving Katrina's residence late at night. When the media team was discovered, Ranbir fled, but the encounter provided the first public indication of their affair.
Later, the same team gathered information about the couple meeting at Katrina's manager's vacant house. After filming Katrina's arrival, Ranbir emerged and, upon spotting the journalists, initially pretended to just be dropping her off. However, he later returned, chased them, and took their camera bag and boom mic.
Ranbir reportedly pleaded with Dalvi to promise an end to the pursuit in exchange for the return of the equipment. She declined, asserting that following leads was part of her journalistic duties. The actor eventually relented and returned their belongings, understanding her professional stance.
