The highly anticipated clash between Ranbir Kapoor's Lord Ram and Yash's Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' is still some way off from being filmed. Ranbir Kapoor confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con that the epic confrontation has not yet been captured on camera. He elaborated that the significant interactions between Lord Ram and Ravana are scheduled for later in the narrative.
Ranbir Kapoor expressed his admiration for Yash's rendition of Ravana, noting its departure from traditional portrayals. He highlighted Yash's "swag, aura, and honesty" in bringing the character to life, breaking away from stereotypical depictions. The first installment of 'Ramayana' is slated for release this Diwali, with the concluding part expected on Diwali 2027.
The film boasts an ensemble cast including Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. Supporting roles are filled by Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothare, Sheeba Chaddha, and Indira Krishnan. Despite the delayed filming of the central conflict, 'Ramayana: Part 1' is proceeding with its planned release.
