Exclusive Ramayana Glimpses at Chennai Expo

The Big Cine Expo 2026, set for August 18 and 19 in Chennai, will feature an exclusive preview of the upcoming film 'Ramayana.' Attendees will be the first to witness unreleased footage from this period epic, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash. Strict measures will be in place to prevent recording during the screening. While the film's cast and director Nitesh Tiwari will not attend, Parminder Chadda of Prime Focus will present the exclusive visuals.

This year's expo also includes the IMAX Big Cine Awards 2026 on August 18. Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan is slated to receive a Special Achievement Award. Furthermore, Roopbani Cinema in Purnia, Bihar, and Mukta A2 Bharatmata in Lalbaug, Mumbai, will be recognized as the Best Single-Screen Theatres of the Year. Mukta A2 Bharatmata recently reopened with significant upgrades, including recliners and 2K laser projection.
