Actor Rajpal Yadav, released on February 17 in connection with a Rs 9-crore cheque-bounce case, has spoken out about his financial standing post-incarceration. While previously quoted as saying "I don't have money," Yadav clarified in an exclusive interview that he is financially secure. He described himself as a "walking cheque book" who generates income and supports others.
Yadav's release from Tihar Jail was followed by his immediate attendance at his niece's wedding, demonstrating a swift return to personal commitments. He expressed deep gratitude for the support he received from members of the film industry, including Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn, noting their long-standing backing.
The actor's legal troubles stemmed from a cheque-bounce case, leading to his surrender on February 5. The Delhi High Court had rejected his plea for more time to repay the substantial amount. However, the court later suspended his sentence until March 18, providing temporary relief.
Despite this turbulent period, Yadav's professional career continues. He recently appeared in 'Baby John' and 'Interrogation' and is slated to feature alongside Akshay Kumar in the upcoming horror-comedy 'Bhooth Bangla', scheduled for an April 10 release.
