The film, which was released on Amazon Prime Video six weeks ago, has amassed a total viewership of 17.4 million, surpassing every other Indian release on various streaming services.
The only exception is Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari Chapter 2,' which remains the sole Indian film to have outperformed 'Coolie' on OTT. However, Rajinikanth's film now needs just 0.7 million more views to become the most-viewed Indian OTT release of 2025, excluding the Netflix titles.
In its sixth week of streaming, 'Coolie' garnered a viewership of 2.2 million, securing the second spot on the list of the most-watched films in India for the week of October 13-19, 2025, as per Ormax data. This impressive performance has solidified the film's position as a dominant force in the Indian OTT landscape, further cementing Rajinikanth's status as a box office powerhouse.
