Rajinikanth Declares Dhurandhar 2 A Must-Watch Indian Film

Superstar Rajinikanth has added his voice to the growing list of celebrities appreciating 'Dhurandhar 2.' Taking to his X handle after watching the film, Rajinikanth described it as a "must-watch film for every Indian" and congratulated the team. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, has garnered widespread acclaim, including praise from several South Indian film industry stalwarts.

'Dhurandhar 2' is performing exceptionally well at the box office. By its first Sunday, the movie had earned ₹114.85 crore domestically, bringing its total collection in India to ₹411.12 crore. Globally, the film has surpassed ₹691.32 crore. Earlier, on March 18, it recorded ₹43 crore from paid previews across India.

With its current momentum, 'Dhurandhar 2' is projected to climb international rankings and is setting its sights on the ₹2000 crore club, a milestone previously achieved only by 'Dangal.' The film, released on March 19, is the follow-up to last year's highly successful 'Dhurandhar,' which was the highest-grossing film of 2025. It also features R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt in key roles.
