Actor Hospitalized After Insect Bite on Set

Actor Rajesh Sharma was hospitalized in Kolkata earlier this month after an insect bite led to serious complications. The incident took place on July 8th while he was filming for the movie 'Fauzi' at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Sharma sustained the bite while speaking with local technicians in a heavily vegetated area. He initially delayed seeking medical care, flying to Kolkata as scheduled. However, he soon developed severe pain, high fever, and restlessness, prompting his admission to Manipal Hospital.

Actress Sudipta Chatterjee and producer Agnidev Chatterjee confirmed the details of the bite and Sharma's subsequent hospitalization. They later provided updates indicating an improvement in his condition. Sharma has since been discharged and is now recuperating at his residence in Mumbai.

BN Tiwari of FWICE confirmed Sharma's discharge and stated he is preparing for upcoming international project shoots. Actor Akshay Kumar had publicly expressed his concern on social media, wishing Sharma a speedy recovery.
