This collaborative event, presented by the Rajeev Neelam Arts and Cultural Foundation and the State Lalit Kala Akademi, offers a comprehensive look at Mishra's diverse artistic contributions.
The exhibition runs until Tuesday, welcoming visitors daily from 11 am to 6 pm. It features an impressive collection of approximately 29 artworks, employing techniques such as wash, watercolor, and acrylic mediums, drawing considerable interest from art enthusiasts and students.
Curated by Rajeev Mishra's daughter, Stuti Mishra, the show emphasizes his profound skill in wash techniques and his deep emotional connection to daily life. Among the standout pieces are 'Minnat,' a watercolor wash symbolizing hope through women carrying lanterns, and 'Gaushala,' a striking wash-and-ink pen composition depicting cows in a manger.
In addition to the visual art, attendees were treated to a short film detailing Mishra's artistic journey, his challenges, achievements, and personal character. Artist Umesh Kumar Saxena recognized Mishra as a vital representative of the state's artistic heritage.
