Rajasthani Film Shines at IFFI's Indian Panorama

A new Rajasthani film has earned a spot in the Indian Panorama section of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), set to take place in Goa from November 20-28, 2025. This selection highlights the growing recognition of regional cinema on a national platform. The film promises to offer a poignant narrative from Rajasthan.

Written and directed by Jigar Nagda, the feature film navigates themes of survival, development, and environmental responsibility through the story of a father and son. Its narrative unfolds against the scenic yet vulnerable Aravali ranges, critically examining the consequences of ecological neglect and the complex decisions communities face when balancing their livelihoods with the need for sustainability.

Director Jigar Nagda expressed that the story is rooted in his deep connection with the region and its people, aiming to illustrate the far-reaching effects of environmental imbalance. Producer Jitendra Mishra emphasized that this selection validates the team's dedication and underscores the importance of culturally and environmentally resonant stories from regional India.
