Raja Shivaji Hits Half Century in 6 Days!
7 May
Summary
- Raja Shivaji achieved Rs 50 crore in just six days.
- The film smartly blended Bollywood and Marathi stars.
- Collections reached Rs 53.30 crores with one day left.
The Marathi film Raja Shivaji has achieved a significant box office milestone, crossing the Rs 50 crore mark in just six days. This makes it the fastest Marathi film to reach this collection, with figures including its Hindi dubbed version.
Despite its localized appeal, the film benefited from a strategic mix of Bollywood and Marathi actors. This casting choice, featuring stars like Sanjay Dutt and Genelia Deshmukh alongside local favorites, helped attract both regional and pan-India audiences.
The film's collections on Wednesday were Rs 4.70 crores, a slight decrease from Tuesday's Rs 5.40 crores. Currently, the total stands at Rs 53.30 crores, with the first week not yet concluded. The absence of major new releases this weekend is expected to further boost Raja Shivaji's box office performance.
