Ranbir shared how Raj Kapoor, the director of the 1964 romantic musical 'Sangam', managed to convince actress Vyjayanthimala to play the role of Radha using just a telegram.
Ranbir explained that during the making of 'Sangam', Raj Kapoor wanted Vyjayanthimala for the role of Radha, but she initially refused. With no phones available at the time, Raj Kapoor resorted to sending a telegram to Vyjayanthimala. The telegram read, "Bol Radha Bol Sangam Hoga Ki Nahi?" (Will the film 'Sangam' happen or not?). Vyjayanthimala's response, "Hoga, Hoga, Hoga" (It will happen, it will happen), not only convinced her to take on the role but also became the lyrics for the iconic song 'Bol Radha Bol'.
Ranbir, who is set to portray Lord Ram in the upcoming epic 'Ramayana', also emphasized the importance of talent and individuality in the film industry. Despite coming from a renowned Bollywood family, Ranbir acknowledged that he had to work hard to establish his own identity and succeed in the industry.
