The Raipur Municipal Corporation has appointed zone commissioners as nodal officers to oversee preparations. Essential arrangements such as sanitation, drinking water, streetlights, and firefighting vehicles are being made at all six venues. The civic body is collaborating with district administration and police for crowd management and emergency response.
Similar preparations are being implemented at Choubey Colony, Rajendra Nagar, Shankar Nagar, and Ramkund. The corporation is also focusing on noise and air pollution control. Additionally, preparations for Durga idol immersion are underway near Mahadev Ghat, with direct immersion in the Kharun river prohibited.
