The Ragtime musical revival on Broadway is extending its run by an additional 23 weeks. The show, which was originally set to wrap up on January 4, 2025, will now continue performances at the Vivian Beaumont Theater through June 14, 2025.
The Ragtime revival has been a major success for Lincoln Center Theater since its debut in late September 2025. The show sold out its initial preview performances and has continued to draw large, enthusiastic crowds following its official opening on October 16, 2025. Directed by Kewsong Lee Artistic Director Lear deBessonet, the musical adaptation of E.L. Doctorow's 1975 novel weaves together fictional narratives with real historical figures and events from the dawn of the 20th century.
The Ragtime creative team is stacked with Tony-winning talent, including a score by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, a book by Terrence McNally, and original orchestrations by William David Brohn. The production features a cast led by Joshua Henry, Nichelle Lewis, Brandon Uranowitz, and Caissie Levy, among others. With its extended run, the Ragtime revival is poised to continue captivating Broadway audiences well into the summer of 2025.
