RHOBH Star Zoe: 'I Made the Decision to Leave My Marriage'

New Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Rachel Zoe has revealed that she was the one who asked for a divorce from her husband of 26 years, Rodger Berman. The 54-year-old stylist shared that her decision to end their 33-year relationship stemmed from her strong sense of independence. She explained that being financially, professionally, and socially independent allowed her to face the end of her marriage decisively, viewing it as simply the next chapter.

Zoe detailed that many women in her life are currently experiencing separation or divorce, a topic she intends to explore on the Bravo series. She emphasized that her independence was crucial for her ability to move on from a relationship that spanned her entire adult life. The fashion designer filed for divorce in July, ten months after she and Berman initially announced their separation, which they had described as mutual at the time.

Having met Rodger Berman in 1991 while attending George Washington University, Zoe and Berman built a life together, eventually moving to New York City and later Los Angeles. Despite the personal challenges, Zoe is committed to co-parenting their children and continuing to work together within their shared businesses.
