Actress Rachel Sennott has secured a significant supporting role in the film 'Kockroach.' The project, directed by Matt Ross, also features Chris Hemsworth, Taron Egerton, Zazie Beetz, and Alec Baldwin. Filming is scheduled to commence in Australia next week.
The movie is a crime thriller set in New York, drawing inspiration from William Lashner's novel. This story reimagines Franz Kafka's classic 'Metamorphosis,' suggesting a supernatural element where a character transforms into a cockroach. Jonathan Ames wrote the screenplay, with revisions by Ross.
Sennott's casting is not anticipated to cause lengthy absences from her work on season two of the HBO series 'I Love LA,' which is expected to shoot this year. She has recently been involved in other projects, including co-creating 'Big Mistakes' for Netflix and co-writing 'The Heidi Fleiss Story' for Aubrey Plaza.
