R. Madhavan Leads Powerful Family Saga in Netflix's 'Legacy'

On October 13, 2025, Netflix officially unveiled the first look of its upcoming Tamil original series 'Legacy', a high-stakes crime drama headlined by veteran actor R. Madhavan and rising star Nimisha Sajayan. Directed by Charukesh Sekar, the series is produced by Kalyan Shankar under the banner of Stone Bench Pvt Ltd and features an ensemble cast including Gautham Karthik, Gulshan Devaiah, and Abhishek Banerjee.

'Legacy' follows Periyavar, the aging patriarch of a powerful crime family, as he finds himself racing against time to anoint a successor and safeguard his vast empire from an impending siege. As rivalries rise and loyalties fracture, the series explores the emotional and psychological toll of power, family, and the fight to preserve one's name in a crumbling dynasty.
