Queens of the Stone Age Return with 'Perfecth' Nine-Track Album

Queens of the Stone Age is releasing their ninth studio album, 'Perfecth,' on October 30th, featuring nine new songs. The album explores diverse themes of love, including familial connections and intense romantic relationships, described as both love that breaks and love that heals. Frontman Josh Homme noted that the songs' completion was delayed until he felt qualified to finish them. The new record follows 2023's 'In Times New Roman.'

This release marks the band's return to touring after Homme underwent emergency surgery and recovered from cancer diagnosed in 2022. The group, consisting of Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore, is currently on tour. Upcoming dates include a concert in Iceland on October 24th and a benefit show in Los Angeles on November 16th, followed by international dates in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Homme commented on the album's title, 'Perfecth,' suggesting that while it sounds amusing in a group context, the reality of imperfection is a profound struggle when faced alone. The band's performance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' showcased their current robust energy.
