Royal Surprise: Camilla Joins 'Letters Live' Event

Queen Camilla recently delighted attendees at the Royal Festival Hall with an unexpected appearance. She took to the stage during the venue's "Letters Live" event, a program celebrating the power of correspondence through readings by various performers.

During her surprise turn, Queen Camilla read a letter written by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. She joined a distinguished lineup that included actors like Jessie Buckley and Olivia Colman. The event also served as a fundraiser for the National Literacy Trust, an organization for which Queen Camilla serves as Patron and actively promotes literacy.

This engagement aligns with Queen Camilla's ongoing commitment to literature. She also spearheads the Queen's Reading Room, a literary charity and book club that fosters discussions on writing and reading recommendations. The initiative has featured authors such as Harlan Coben and Louise Penny.
