Summary
- Twin sisters reunite for surprise Snocaps album
- First new music together since P.S. Eliot punk band
- Album features collaborations with MJ Lenderman and Brad Cook

On October 31, 2025, twin sisters Katie and Allison Crutchfield surprised fans by releasing a new album under the name Snocaps. The self-titled record marks the first time the sisters have collaborated on new music since the days of their former punk band P.S. Eliot, which was active from 2007 to 2011 with a brief reunion in 2016.
After P.S. Eliot's dissolution, Katie went on to find success as the indie rock artist Waxahatchee, while Allison formed the band Swearin'. Now, the Crutchfield sisters have reunited for this unexpected Snocaps project, which features 13 tracks and includes contributions from frequent Waxahatchee collaborators MJ Lenderman and Brad Cook.
Lenderman provided backing vocals on tracks from Waxahatchee's 2024 album Tigers Blood, while Cook has been the producer of choice for Katie's music since 2020's Saint Cloud. All four musicians play a variety of instruments across the Snocaps record, with Cook also handling engineering and production duties.
According to the press release, Snocaps will be playing a handful of shows at the end of 2025, though details have yet to be announced. The sisters have stated that these will be the only Snocaps performances for the foreseeable future, but have hinted that they may work together on music again in the future.
