The "God Save the Queens" festival, organized by the Up Yours! collective, marks the 50th anniversary of feminist punk. This event on October 16 at Electric Brixton includes Gina Birch, Hollie Cook, Lora Logic, and Paul Dean for a one-night-only performance.
The festival coincides with the opening of a new exhibit on feminist punk at the Museum of Youth Culture in Camden. Punk historian Vivien Goldman and other notable figures will also appear.
