Hrishikesh Kishor Kamble, a second-year architecture student from Pune, has created an impressive mosaic of Lord Ganpati using 520 Rubik's cubes. The artwork, displayed prominently at his home in Sukhsagarnagar, Katraj, faces outwards and has become an incidental attraction for visitors to a nearby temple.
Kamble completed the mosaic on September 12th after four days of dedicated work, dedicating three to four hours daily. This creation showcases a different facet of his skill, emphasizing patience over the speed characteristic of his competitive speedcubing endeavors. His journey with Rubik's cubes began in 2020, evolving from a lockdown pastime into a serious pursuit.
Beyond creating art, Kamble is an accomplished speedcuber, reducing his solving time to approximately 15 seconds and training over 200 students globally. He is currently preparing for a Guinness World Records attempt, showcasing his dedication to the craft in various forms.
