Sony is enhancing its PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers with ten highly regarded games throughout August. This strategic rollout aims to bolster the service's offerings before the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto 6 in November. Subscribers can anticipate a variety of genres, from action-packed titles to realistic RPGs and quirky party games.
The influx of new games begins this Wednesday, with Helldivers 2 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 leading the charge. Helldivers 2, a 2024 cooperative shooter, pits players against alien threats, while Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers a realistic medieval RPG experience in 15th-century Bohemia. Vampire Survivors, known for its addictive gameplay loop, and the atmospheric action-adventure Hell Is Us also join the Extra and Premium libraries.
Later in August, PlayStation Plus subscribers can dive into the chaotic party fun of Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Party Dash and the creative museum management simulation of Two Point Museum. Rounding out the additions are Metro Exodus, an expansive survival shooter, Dying Light 2, an open-world zombie survival game with parkour, and classic titles like Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire, available for Premium subscribers.
