This newly created position will see Segna responsible for overseeing television development and expanding the studio's slate of series and creative partnerships.
This move signifies Prologue Entertainment's growth into a full-service studio, founded in 2024 by Lloyd Braun, Sarah Bremner, and Noah Oppenheim. Segna will report directly to Sarah Bremner. His extensive background includes leading television development for Lee Daniels Entertainment, where he managed packaging and sales of series for various networks.
Prior to his role at Lee Daniels Entertainment, Segna served as EVP of Development at MRC Television. His career also includes a significant tenure at Starz, where he oversaw the development and production of series like 'Power.' Segna's earlier work involved producing music videos, commercials, and the documentary 'Ain't in It for My Health: A Film About Levon Helm.'
Segna joins a growing team at Prologue, which includes Creative Executive Quinn Wilcox and Director of Creative Affairs Sammy Rosenthal. The studio, backed by Jeff Zucker and RedBird Capital Partners, is actively building its diverse slate and recently announced first-look agreements with The Atlantic and author David McCloskey.
