This "Directors' Experience" is accessible through the TheaterEars app on viewers' smartphones. The app traditionally enhances accessibility by providing audio tracks in different languages or descriptive audio.

To use this feature, audiences download the TheaterEars app, create an account, and select their movie showtime. They can then queue up the director's commentary to play through their earbuds, synced with the theatrical screening. This move revives the popular practice of director commentaries, which have become less common on modern physical media releases.
